Fugitive Shawna Moore-Saia Turns Herself In

FBI Fugitive Shawna Leimomi Moore-Saia turned herself in at the Los Angeles Office of the FBI at about 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 27th. A federal judge had issued an arrest warrant for Moore-Saia on October 27, 2010, based on charges of identity theft, aggravated identity theft, credit card fraud, wire fraud, bank fraud, and money laundering. A criminal complaint charges Moore-Saia with stealing substantial funds from Wells Fargo during her time as a bank employee. Saia worked at the Wells Fargo branch located in Coos Bay, Oregon from August 2006—August 2010.

Moore-Saia is lodged in the Los Angeles County Jail, and she will make an initial appearance before a federal judge there on Tuesday.
