FBI Portland September 21, 2010
  • Beth Anne Steele (503) 460-8099

At approx 12:52 p.m. today, a man walked into Key Bank at 7152 SW Hazelfern Rd. in Tualatin. He walked over to the table where you fill out deposit slips, etc. He was carrying a small box. He opened the box and pulled out what appeared to be a piece of paper. One of the three employees in the bank motioned him over to the main teller desk. He approached, demanded cash, threatened that he had an explosive device and walked out. There were no other customers in the bank at the time.

He is described as being a white man, 5’8”, average build. He has thick dark hair (short) and heavy black framed prescription glasses. He was wearing a loose sweater with alternating cream and brown stripes. Due to his appearance, investigators have dubbed him the “Where’s Waldo” bandit.

Please contact the FBI or Tualatin Police Department if you have information concerning this robbery.
