Public’s Help Needed Identifying Bank Robber

The FBI and Salem Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who robbed the Bank of America branch located at 3803 Center Street NE at 4:40 p.m. Thursday. The man walked into the bank, threatened the teller while demanding cash, and left on foot. Witnesses describe him as:

  • White man
  • Age:  50’s
  • Height:  5’4” - 5’8”
  • Build:  Small

Wearing:  White baseball cap, light blue zip up hoodie jacket, blue patterned shirt and wire-rimmed prescription glasses

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI in Salem during normal business hours at (503) 362-6601, the FBI in Portland twenty-fours a day at (503) 224-4181, or the Salem Police Department at (503) 588-8477.
