Johnstown Crack Dealer Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison

JOHNSTOWN, PA—A resident of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced in federal court to 120 months in prison and three years’ supervised release on his conviction of distributing cocaine base, commonly known as “crack,” United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Kendale Rahmel Hollins, 26.
According to information presented to the court, on June 8, 2010, Hollins sold 26.5 grams of crack cocaine. Once again on June 16, 2010, he distributed 26.7 grams of crack. Again on August 11, 2010, he sold 26.3 grams of crack cocaine.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephanie L. Haines prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Laurel Highlands Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Pennsylvania State Attorney General’s Office, and the Altoona Police Department for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Hollins.
