Baden Man Charged with Robbing Ambridge Bank

PITTSBURGH—A resident of Baden, Pennsylvania has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on charges of bank robbery, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
The two-count indictment named Keith Fisher, 46, of 431 Bryan Avenue, Baden, Pennsylvania.
According to the indictment, on June 14, 2012, Fisher committed armed robbery at the Huntington Bank located at 700 Merchant Street, Ambridge, Pennsylvania, of $5,548.00.
The law provides for a maximum total sentence of not more than 25 years in prison, a fine of $250,000, or both. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed would be based upon the seriousness of the offense and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.
Assistant United States Attorney Jonathan B. Ortiz is prosecuting this case on behalf of the government.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Ambridge Police Department conducted the investigation leading to the indictment in this case.
An indictment is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
