Pittsburgh Man Pleads Guilty to Robbing Sewickley Savings Bank

PITTSBURGH—A resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania pled guilty in federal court to a charge of bank robbery, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
Antoine Riley, 41, pled guilty to one count before United States District Judge Joy Flowers Conti.
In connection with the guilty plea, the court was advised that on Dec. 10, 2008, Riley robbed the Sewickley Savings Bank located at 531 Broad Street, Sewickley, Pa.
Judge Conti scheduled sentencing for May 13, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. The law provides for a maximum total sentence of up to 20 years in prison, a fine of $250,000, or both. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed is based upon the seriousness of the offense and the criminal history, if any, of the defendant.
Assistant United States Attorney Craig W. Haller is prosecuting this case on behalf of the United States.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Sewickley Police Department, and the Coraopolis Police Department conducted the investigation that led to the prosecution of Riley.
