Ambridge Man Sentenced to Five Years in Prison for Conspiring to Distribute Cocaine

PITTSBURGH—A resident of Ambridge, Pennsylvania has been sentenced in federal court to 66 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, on his conviction of violating federal drug laws, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
United States District Judge David Stewart Cercone imposed the sentence on Ronnie Berry, 35.
According to information presented to the court, from in or around August 2006, to on or about Aug. 22, 2007, Berry conspired with others to distribute and possess with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine.
Assistant United States Attorney Barbara K. Swartz prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Drug Enforcement Administration for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Berry.
