Judge Sentences Johnstown Crack Dealer to 15 Years in Prison

JOHNSTOWN, PA—A resident of Johnstown, Pennsylvania has been sentenced in federal court to 188 months in prison and five years’ supervised release on his conviction of distributing cocaine base, commonly known as “crack,” United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Joshua Francis Shenego, 25.
According to information presented to the court, Shenego distributed five grams or more of cocaine base on March 17, 2009.
Assistant United States Attorney Stephanie L. Haines prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation/Laurel Highlands Resident Agency and the Cambria County Drug Task Force for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Shenego.
