Judge Sentences Farrell Man to 15 Years in Prison for Dealing Crack Cocaine, Possessing Firearm

Acting United States Attorney Robert S. Cessar announced today, May 13, 2010, that on May 10, 2010, Terrance Howard Wells, a resident of Farrell, Pennsylvania, was sentenced in federal court in Pittsburgh to 180 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release on his conviction of violating federal narcotics and firearms laws.
United States District Judge Nora Barry Fischer imposed the sentence on Wells, age 23.
According to information presented to the court by Assistant United States Attorney Amy L. Johnston, Wells conspired to distribute and possessed with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of crack cocaine and was carrying a firearm at the time.
Mr. Cessar commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Sharon Police Department and the Internal Revenue Service — Criminal Investigation for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Wells.
