Huntington Man Sentenced to Prison for Dealing Crack Cocaine

HUNTINGTON, WV—Wesley Robinson Mack, 40, of Huntington, WV, was sentenced today by United States District Judge Robert C. Chambers to 37 months in prison for distributing cocaine base. Mack previously pled guilty in March 2009, admitting to the drug charge. Mack stipulated in his plea agreement that on March 18, 2009, he sold .46 grams of crack cocaine to a confidential informant working with law enforcement. The undercover drug transaction took place in the area of 19th Street and 8th Avenue in Huntington. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Huntington Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, West Virginia State Police and the Huntington Police Department jointly conducted the investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Lisa G. Johnston handled the prosecution.
