Huntington Man Pleads Guilty to Distribution of Crack Cocaine

HUNTINGTON, WV—Bryan T. Thompson, 38, of Huntington, WV pled guilty before United States District Judge Robert Chambers to distributing crack cocaine to a confidential informant in the area of 9th Avenue and 19th Street in Huntington in March 2009. Thompson, who is scheduled to be sentenced on September 21, 2009, faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine. The FBI, the Huntington Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force and the West Virginia State Police conducted the investigation. AUSA Lisa G. Johnston is handling the prosecution.
