Wanted: The “No Tricks Bandit”

PHOENIX, AZ—The Phoenix FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the “No Tricks Bandit.” The unknown male enters the bank, approaches the teller, and presents a threatening demand note. The note also contains the statement, “No Tricks.” He receives an undisclosed amount of money by having the teller place the money in a small blue bank bag, then he exits the bank on foot. No weapons or vehicle seen.

The unknown male is described as a white or Hispanic male, mid 40’s, 5’9” - 6’0”, 200 - 250 lbs., brown goatee, possible pony tail, long-sleeved button down denim shirt, sunglasses, beige baseball cap with “ACH” logo on front, blue jeans, and brown shoes (robberies and attempted robbery – 2/16/09).

He is described as wearing gray baseball cap, sunglasses, dark blue long sleeve shirt with a pen clipped to the collar (Bank of America – 2/12/09) and reading glasses hanging on the collar (National Bank of Arizona – 2/12/09). 

The unknown male has allegedly robbed or attempted to rob the following banks:

  • 02/16/09, Chase Bank, 2620 E. Camelback Road, Phoenix
  • 02/16/09, Chase Bank, 6155 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale (Attempted)
  • 02/16/09, Bank of America, 6501 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale
  • 02/12/10, Bank of America, 3103 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale
  • 02/12/09, National Bank of Arizona, 3101 N. Central Ave., Phoenix
