In October, 2004, Mr. Pistole was promoted to Deputy Director, the number two position in the FBI.  He is the recipient of the 2005 Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Executive.  In 2007, Mr. Pistole received the Edward H. Levy Award for Outstanding Professionalism and Exemplary Integrity.

   
DETAILS: 

A Federal Law Enforcement Memorial Service will be held to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice from the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the U.S. Marshal Service.  A wreath presentation will also be made to honor state and local police officers killed in the line of duty in the State of Arizona during the past year.

Those planning to attend should arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. to allow time to check in and set up equipment without detracting from the solemnity of the event.  Media representatives attending will be required to have press credentials and a second form of identification.  Thank you for your cooperation.  If you have a marked vehicle, you may park on north side of Clarendon Street between the main office and the maintenance facility.
