Robbery of M&T Bank Branch in Philadelphia

FBI Philadelphia February 14, 2014

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the February 11, 2014 robbery of the M&T Bank branch located at 117 South 18th Street in the Rittenhouse Square section of the city.

At approximately 12:45 p.m., the subject entered the bank and verbally demanded money from a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot.

The subject is described as a black male in his late 40s to early 50s, approximately 6’1” tall, light to medium complexion with freckles. He wore a dark-colored hooded jacket, dark-colored knit cap, and dark-colored pants.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
