The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery today of the American Heritage Federal Credit Union branch located at 2185 Bridge Street.

At approximately 11:12 a.m., the subject entered the credit union and handed a teller a demand note. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area.

The subject is described as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall, medium build, with scruffy facial hair. He wore a black polo-style shirt, khaki shorts, and a black Chicago White Sox cap.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
