Robbery of 3rd Federal Bank Branch in Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for Saturday’s robbery of the 3rd Federal Bank branch located at 2601 Orthodox Street.

At approximately 11:50 a.m., the subject entered the bank and handed a teller a threatening demand note. He also made a verbal threat that he had a gun. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank–possibly in a green sedan with tinted windows that headed east on Orthodox Street.

The subject is described as a white male in his 20s to 30s, approximately 6’0” tall, thin build, with a goatee. He wore a white v-neck T-shirt, black pants, white sneakers, dark sunglasses, and a black bandana on his head.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
