Attempted Robbery of Philadelphia Federal Credit Union Branch in Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for Monday’s (July 7, 2014) attempted robbery of the Philadelphia Federal Credit Union branch located at 2136 East Dauphin Street.

At approximately 1:15 p.m., the subject entered the bank and handed a teller a demand note. The subject eventually fled the bank without receiving any money. He was last seen heading north on Trenton Street.

The subject is described as a white male, approximately 25 to 30 years of age and 5’6” to 5’7” tall, slim build, with close-cut dark hair. He wore black aviator sunglasses, dark gray or black T-shirt, gray cargo shorts, and black sneakers.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this attempted robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
