Robbery of Prudential Savings Bank Branch in Philadelphia

FBI Philadelphia December 23, 2013

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery today, December 23, 2013, of the Prudential Savings Bank branch located at 28 North 3rd Street in Old City.

At approximately 10:15 a.m., the subject entered the bank and handed a teller a demand note. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled on foot.

The subject is described as a white male in his mid- to late 20s, approximately 5’7” tall, with a thin build; he wore a tan work jumpsuit/coveralls, red hooded sweatshirt, red Phillies cap, and dark-colored gloves.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
