Armed Robberies of a Citizens Bank Branch in Philadelphia

FBI Philadelphia July 23, 2012

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the armed robberies of the Citizens Bank branch located at 3210 Red Lion Road inside the Acme Grocery Store on both Wednesday, July 18, 2012, and Sunday, July 22, 2012.

In both robberies, the subject threatened a teller with a handgun and fled the area of the bank on foot in an unknown direction after obtaining cash.

The subject is described as a white male in late 30s or 40s, 5’11” to 6’0” tall, 200 pounds, with close-cut hair. In both robberies, the subject wore baseball caps, sunglasses, sleeveless T-shirts, and shorts. Pictures from both robberies are below.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this subject is urged to call the Philadelphia Police Department or the FBI at 215-418-4000. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
