Seeking Information on Armed Robbery of TD Bank Branch in Flourtown

FBI Philadelphia August 24, 2011

The FBI and the Springfield Township (Montgomery County) Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subjects responsible for the armed robbery of the TD Bank branch located at 1240 Bethlehem Pike in Flourtown, Pennsylvania earlier today.

At approximately 3:07 p.m., two subjects entered the bank branch and approached a teller station. Subject #1 brandished a black handgun and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, which the subjects placed into a canvas bag they were carrying, the two subjects fled the area of the bank on foot towards Jones Avenue. It is possible the subjects then fled from Jones Avenue in a grey or gold car.

Subject #1 is described as a black male in late 20s, 5’08” to 5’10” tall, medium build, with a short beard or goatee, wearing a blue hat with “KC” on the front, a white shirt, and dark pants. This is the subject that brandished the handgun. Subject #2 is described as a black male in his late 20s, 5’08 to 5“10” tall, medium build, wearing a red hat, a “Nike” shirt, and tan pants.

These subjects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Springfield Township Police at 610-836-1601.
