Philadelphia Man Charged with Drug and Weapons Violations

Today, Albert Feaster was charged in a two-count indictment with attempted1 possession of five kilograms or more of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking felony, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment alleges that on June 7, 2011, in Philadelphia, Feaster attempted to possess with intent to distribute 10 kilograms of cocaine and that he also possessed a loaded Bryco Arms, Model T380 semi-automatic pistol in furtherance of the commission of the charged drug trafficking crime. If convicted, Feaster faces a maximum term of life imprisonment, an effective mandatory minimum term of life imprisonment plus five years’ imprisonment, 10 years’ supervised release, and a $8,250,000 fine.
