Delaware Man Charged with Sex Traveling

An Indictment was filed today charging John Angell, 40, of Smyrna, DE, with eight counts of traveling to have sex with a minor and eight counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12.

If convicted of all charges, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of life in prison, five years’ supervised release, and a fine of up to $4 million.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Michelle Morgan.
