Drug Trafficker Sentenced to 15 Years

PHILADELPHIA—Nyene Henry Baker, Jr., 32, of Trenton, New Jersey, was sentenced today to 15 years in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine and marijuana, possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine, leasing a storage unit for the purpose of unlawfully storing and distributing marijuana, and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. Baker, a/k/a “Jason Anderson,” a/k/a “Joshua Irving,” a/k/a “Bryan Smith,” a/k/a “Unsco,” a/k/a “Henry,” conspired with other individuals to obtain kilogram quantities of cocaine in Los Angeles and transport the cocaine back to Philadelphia between mid-2007 and February 25, 2010. He pled guilty on December 15, 2010.

The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Court Judge Michael M. Baylson.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police, with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Los Angeles Police Department. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney James R. Pavlock.
