Robbery of a Citizen’s Bank Branch

FBI Philadelphia December 20, 2010

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the Citizen’s Bank branch located at 6271 Frankford Avenue earlier today. The subject who robbed the Citizen’s Bank branch today is also believed to be responsible for the robbery of the PNC Bank branch located at 6855 Frankford Avenue on 12/14/2010.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. today, the subject entered the bank and presented a threatening demand note to a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot and was last seen headed eastbound on Robbins Street.

The subject is described as a white male in his 20’s, 6’0” tall, thin build, wearing a baseball cap, a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, and a dark jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police department or the FBI’s Violent Crime Task Force at 215-418-4000. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
