Armed Robbery of a TD Bank Branch in Plymouth Meeting

FBI Philadelphia November 05, 2010

The FBI and the Plymouth Township Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subjects responsible for the armed robbery of the TD Bank branch located at 550 West Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania earlier today.

At approximately 10:25 a.m., two men entered the branch. One of the subjects was wielding two semi-automatic hand guns, one black and one silver, and the other had a gun in his waistband and was carrying an Adidas drawstring backpack. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, which the subjects ordered the tellers to put into the Adidas backpack, the subjects fled the bank and ran across Germantown Pike. The subjects were seen entering a blue minivan driven by a third individual, which had been parked one block away, in the 600 block of Germantown Pike, during the robbery. The minivan was last seen fleeing east on Germantown Pike.

The male carrying the two guns is described as light-skinned black male, late 20’s to early 30’s, 6’2” tall, thin build, wearing a colorful dark hooded jacket with Sesame Street characters on the front and green and yellow stripes down the sleeves, a black and white checkered scarf over his face, and jeans.

The other male, who was carrying the bag, is described as a light-skinned black male, late 20’s to early 30’s, 6’0” tall, medium build, with a full beard, wearing large black glasses, a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, and khaki pants.

Both subjects were wearing white gloves during the robbery. The subjects may have red dye stains on their skin and clothing.

These subjects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Plymouth Township Police Department at 610-279-1900.
