Philadelphia Man Charged in ATM Robbery

A two-count information was filed today charging Ian Golden with conspiracy to commit bank robbery, bank robbery, and aiding and abetting, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The charges arise out of the theft of a Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union ATM from the Delaware County Memorial Hospital on September 7, 2009.

INFORMATION REGARDING THE DEFENDANT
NAME: Ian Golden
ADDRESS: Philadelphia
AGE OR DATE OF BIRTH: 1978

If convicted of all charges, the defendant faces a total maximum sentence of 25 years’ imprisonment, three years’ supervised release, a $500,000 fine, and a $200 special assessment.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and several suburban police departments. It is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Salvatore L. Astolfi.
