Chester Resident Charged in Gunpoint Robberies

Dayon Pinder, a/k/a “Bones,” was charged today by Indictment with five counts of Hobbs Act robbery and four counts of carrying or using a firearm during or in relation to a crime of violence, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The charges arise out of a string of gunpoint robberies in March 2010, in Delaware and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania, and in the state of Delaware.

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of life imprisonment, with an 82-year mandatory minimum sentence of incarceration that must be imposed.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Marple Police Department, the West Chester Police Department, and the Delaware
