Philadelphia Man Charged with Stalking Former Girlfriend

Todd Hart was charged today by Indictment with stalking and computer intrusion, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. Hart is charged with stalking his former girlfriend by making threatening telephone calls, sending threatening e-mails, accessing her online accounts and changing her passwords, accessing her online bank account and attempting to overpay her bills to reduce her bank balance, and deleting her online application to take the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT).

NAME: Todd Hart
ADDRESS: Philadelphia
AGE OR YEAR OF BIRTH: 1984

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 10 years' imprisonment and a $500,000 fine.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Michael L. Levy.
