Robbery of the PNC Bank in Mayfair

FBI Philadelphia April 14, 2010

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the PNC Bank branch located at 6855 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 2:36 p.m., the unidentified subject entered the bank and verbally threatened a teller with violence. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot.

The subject is described as a white male, in his 40’s to 50 years of age, 5’7” to 5’9” tall, medium build, with closely cropped dark salt-and-pepper hair, clean shaven, wearing a green Philadelphia Eagles “Donovan McNabb” jersey.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this subject is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000, or the Philadelphia Police Department.
