New York Drug Dealer Pleads Guilty in Federal Court

Dennis C. Pfannenschmidt, United States Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, announced today that Jorge Luis Davila; a/k/a “Jorge Luis Davila-Lopez;” a/k/a “Jorge Davila;” a/k/a “George Davila;” a/k/a “Hector Luis Casiano Rivera;” and a/k/a “G,” age 32, of the Bronx, New York, pleaded guilty before United States District Court Senior Judge William W. Caldwell to possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine.

According to U.S. Attorney Pfannenschmidt, Davila was wanted by the New York Police Department for a weapons offense. In September 2009, York City Police officers arrested Davila at a local bar. A search revealed ecstasy pills and almost $900 in cash. A subsequent strip search at the booking center revealed approximately 44 grams of crack cocaine hidden in Davila’s underwear.

Davila had traveled from New York to York, Pennsylvania to sell drugs. While in York, Davila also recruited several individuals to aid in drug trafficking.

Davila faces a maximum of 20 years’ imprisonment and a $1 million fine. A sentencing date has not been scheduled.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, York County Drug Task Force, and the York City Police Department. Prosecution is being handled by Chief Deputy of Litigation for the York County District Attorney’s Office and Legal Advisor for the York County Drug Task Force Karen Comery, who is also cross-designated as a Special Assistant United States Attorney.
