Two Bank Robberies Committed by the Same Person

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject believed to be responsible for two bank robberies on Saturday, February 20, 2010, and today. On Saturday, the Wachovia Bank branch located at 6420 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia was robbed at 9:23 a.m., and today the Wachovia Bank branch located at 205 East Street Road in Feasterville was robbed at approximately 10:20 a.m.
In both robberies, the subject entered the branches and presented threatening demand notes to tellers. After obtaining cash, the subject fled on foot. There were no injuries in either robbery.
The subject is described as a white male, 40’s to 50’s, receding short blond/grey hair, scruffy graying facial hair, 5’10” to 6’0” tall, and a thin build. During Saturday’s robbery the subject was wearing a faded denim jacket over a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, and during today’s robbery he was wearing a white t-shirt, black shirt, and a tan jacket with a brown collar.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s identification and arrest, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
