Pottstown Man Charged with Two Bank Robberies

Michael Bellini was indicted today on charges that he committed two bank robberies at Citibank, located at 1211 Walnut Street in Philadelphia on December 31, 2009, and January 6, 2010, announced United States Attorney Michael L. Levy.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 40 years in prison, a $500,000 fine, and $200 in special assessments.

The case was investigated by agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Philadelphia Police Department, and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Arlene Fisk.
