Coatesville Resident Charged with Drug Trafficking

Daishane Jackson was charged today by Indictment on charges that on December 13, 2008, he possessed cocaine and five grams or more of cocaine base (“crack”), possessed three firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and possessed those weapons after having been convicted of a felony, announced United States Attorney Michael L. Levy.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of life imprisonment, a 10-year mandatory minimum term of imprisonment, a mandatory minimum of four years to lifetime supervised release, and a $4,500,000 fine.
The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Coatesville Police Department and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Kathy A. Stark.
