Seeking Information on Armed Robbery of the First Republic Bank

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the armed robbery of the First Republic Bank branch located at 8764 Frankford Avenue yesterday.
At approximately 3:09 p.m. yesterday, an unidentified male entered the First Republic Bank branch and threatened a teller with a small handgun. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot in an unknown direction. There were no injuries.
The subject is described as a white male, 6’2” tall, stocky build, with a thin beard and mustache, wearing a black knit cap, a grey hooded sweatshirt and a black hooded jacket.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to the identification and apprehension of this subject. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
