Seeking Information on Robbery of Citizen’s Bank Branch in Philadelphia

FBI Philadelphia December 26, 2009

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the Citizen’s Bank branch located at 10650 Bustleton Avenue this morning.

At approximately 10:11 a.m, an unidentified male entered the Citizen’s Bank branch and verbally threatened a teller, indicating that he had a gun. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot in an unknown direction. There were no injuries, and no weapon was displayed.

The subject is described as a black male in his early to mid 20’s, 6’0” to 6’2” tall, medium build, medium complexion, wearing a black baseball cap with a “Phillies” P on the front, a black hooded jacket, and dark jeans.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to the identification and apprehension of this subject. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
