Robbery of the Firstrust Bank

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the Firstrust Bank branch located at 1901 Walnut Street in Philadelphia earlier today.

At approximately 8:40 a.m., an unidentified male entered the Firstrust Bank branch and presented a threatening demand note to a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot in an unknown direction. There were no injuries. The subject is described as a black male in his 40’s, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, medium build, dark complexion, with a thin mustache, wearing a tight black knit cap and a large tan or yellow parka with a fur-lined hood.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to the identification and apprehension of this subject. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
