Robbery of the TD Bank

FBI Philadelphia November 09, 2009

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the TD Bank branch located at 217 West Lehigh Avenue earlier today.

At approximately 12:53 p.m. today, the unidentified male entered the branch and presented threatening demand note to a teller. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled on foot and was last seen headed northbound on American Street. The subject is described as a Hispanic male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, 6’0” tall, approximately 200 pounds with a heavy build, bald or shaven head, with a closely cropped mustache and beard, wearing dark sunglasses, a black or dark heavy hooded sweatshirt with a grey lining and blue jeans. There were no injuries as a result of the robbery.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to the identification and apprehension of this subject. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
