Darby Man Indicted in Connection with Seven Robberies in Philadelphia

United States Attorney Michael L. Levy today announced the filing of a seven-count Indictment against Gary Grant charging him with interference with commerce by robbery or attempted robbery of the following seven businesses in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Exxon station, located at 2330 Aramingo Avenue; Two Street Pizza, located at 1616 South 2nd Street; Jackson Village Pizza, located at 2151 South 22nd Street; Queen Village Pizza, located at 825 South 4th Street; Father and Son’s Pizza, located at 2500 Frankford Avenue; Santucci’s Pizza, located at 4019 O. Street; and The Pizza Shack Restaurant, located at 1500 Porter Street.

NAME: Gary Grant
ADDRESS: Darby, Pa.
AGE OR YEAR OF BIRTH: 43

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 140 years’ imprisonment, $1,750,000 fine, three years supervised release, and $700 special assessment.

The case was investigated by the Darby Borough Police Department, Philadelphia Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Virgil B. Walker.
