The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the St. Edmonds Federal Savings Bank branch located at 5873 Ridge Avenue in Philadelphia earlier today.

At approximately 9:33 a.m., an unidentified male entered the branch and made a threatening verbal demand to a teller, indicating that he had a gun. The subject is described as a black male, medium complexion, in his mid 20’s, 5’8” to 6’ tall, thin build, with a small goatee and mustache, wearing a dark “Roca Wear” baseball cap with a white “R” logo on the front, tan sunglasses a dark long-sleeved shirt, dark pants and black sneakers. There was a visible bulge under the subject’s untucked shirt on the right side.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, which the subject placed into a black drawstring bag that he was carrying, the subject fled eastbound on Roxborough Avenue in a silver-colored newer model vehicle, possibly a Chrysler or Ford Focus sedan, driven by another subject. There were no injuries.

Two photographs from the bank’s security cameras are below. This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department.
