Robbery of Beneficial Bank Branch in Phildadelphia

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the Beneficial Bank branch located at 6918 Brous Avenue in Philadelphia earlier today.
At approximately 10:56 a.m., an unidentified male entered the branch and presented a threatening demand note to a teller. The subject is described as a white male in his early- to mid-20’s, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, thin build, wearing a dark-colored or black baseball cap, and a green T-shirt with a large picture of a one hundred dollar bill on the front.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash the subject fled in an unknown direction on a mountain-style bicycle. There were no injuries. It is possible that the subject has red stains on his skin and/or clothing.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to the identification and apprehension of this subject. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
