Seeking the Public’s Assistance to Locate Fugitive Willie Williams

FBI Philadelphia May 19, 2009

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to locate fugitive Willie Williams, 53 years of age, of Philadelphia. Williams is wanted in connection with the robbery of the PNC Bank branch at 1801 Market Street on March 25, 2009. During that robbery, he presented a threatening demand note to a teller and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is also wanted for violating parole following a previous conviction in Philadelphia for armed robbery.

A photograph of Williams is below. Based on the surveillance photos from the PNC Bank robbery, Williams may be clean shaven at this time. Williams is 5’10” tall, and weighs 210 pounds.

Williams has a lengthy criminal record, and is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to the apprehension of Williams, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
