Former Lincoln Resident Sentenced for Conspiracy to Distribute Drugs

On April 10, 2014, Felipe G. Olmos-Torres, age 37, of Dallas, Texas, and formerly of Lincoln, was sentenced to 70 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute drugs. Olmos Torres was held responsible for the distribution of at least 15 kilograms (33 pounds) of cocaine; at least 1.5 kilograms (3 ⅓ pounds) of methamphetamine, and at least 40 kilograms (88 pounds) of marijuana in the Lincoln area between September 2009 and September 2012. Information provided to law enforcement indicated that some of the drugs were being distributed out of a Lincoln used car business operated by Olmos Torres
Following the prison term, Olmos Torres will serve five years on supervised release.
This case was investigated by the Lincoln/Lancaster County Drug Task Force.
