Robbery of J.P. Morgan Chase Bank Branch in Norman

James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the robbery of the J.P. Morgan Chase Bank branch at 3600 W. Robinson St. in Norman, Oklahoma.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. today, a white male entered the J.P. Morgan Chase Bank and approached the teller counter. The subject handed the teller a demand note. The teller complied with the demand and provided the subject with an undisclosed amount of money from the teller drawer. The subject then departed the bank with the money. The subject was last seen on foot heading eastbound on Robinson. No one was injured in today’s robbery.
Surveillance photos and witness descriptions depict the subject as follows: white male with a tan weathered complexion; 6’0” tall; 160 lbs.; wearing a dark pullover hooded sweatshirt; dark colored pants; and a white hat.
This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Norman Police Department. Anyone with information is requested to contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770 (24-hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
