Robbery of IBC Bank Branch in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY—James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the robbery of the IBC bank, 5701 N. May Ave., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

At approximately 1:15 p.m. on March 22, 2014, an unknown black male entered the IBC Bank. At approximately 1:30 p.m., the subject gave a teller a demand note. The teller complied and gave the subject an undisclosed amount of money. The subject departed the bank with the money and was last seen on foot heading north on N. May. No one was injured in today’s robbery.

Witnesses describe the subject as follows:

Black male with a very light complexion, early 20s, 6’2” tall, 145 lbs., slim build, wearing a white jacket with four red stripes and a full zipper on the front, a blue beanie cap, and washed out light blue jeans.


This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department. Anyone with information is requested to contact the FBI at (405)290-7770 (24 hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
