Robbery of Bank of America Branch in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY—James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the robbery of the Bank of America, 5613 N. May Ave., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

At approximately 1:05 p.m. this afternoon, July 21, 2014, an unknown white female entered the bank and approached the teller counter and presented a note demanding money. The note indicated the bank robbery subject had a gun; however, no weapon was seen. The teller complied with the demand and the subject left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The subject was last heading southbound on May Avenue in a silver Dodge Charger with large custom rims and low profile tires. No one was injured in the robbery.

Surveillance photos and witness descriptions depict the subject as follows: White female in her 50s with waist-length black hair, 5’6”-5’8” tall, heavy build, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department. Anyone with information is requested to contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770 (24-hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
