Robbery of BancFirst Bank Branch in Oklahoma City

James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the robbery of the BancFirst bank branch at 7901 N. MacArthur in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

At approximately 10:15, two Hispanic males entered the BancFirst bank wearing red bandanas across their faces. Subject 1 approached a teller pointing a black, long-barreled revolver and verbally demanded money, while Subject 2 went behind the teller and collected the money in a white plastic bag. The subjects then departed the bank with the money.

The subjects were last seen heading north on N. MacArthur in a light blue, two-door vehicle. No one was injured in today’s robbery.

Surveillance photos and witness descriptions depict the subjects as follows:

  • Subject 1: Hispanic male, approximately 50 years old, 5’8” tall, 165 pounds, medium build, wearing a light-colored jacket, gray and black gloves, blue jeans, light-colored shoes, a dark-colored stocking cap, and a red bandana. Subject 1 was carrying a dark-colored, long-barreled revolver.
  • Subject 2: Hispanic male, 5’6” tall, 150 pounds, medium build, wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, dark long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, and a red bandana.

This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department. Anyone with information is requested to contact the FBI at (405)290-7770 (24 hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
