OKLAHOMA CITY—Special Agent in Charge James E. Finch of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced the arrest of Silvana Warren, age 59 of Lawton, Oklahoma, for the robbery of the Arvest Bank in Lawton on June 6, 2013.

Multiple tips were received after surveillance photographs were published by the media, leading to the identification of Warren as the person responsible for the robbery. On June 7, 2013, Warren was charged by federal Ccomplaint in U.S. District Court, Western District of Oklahoma, with the robbery of the Arvest Bank at 5201 S.W. Lee Boulevard in Lawton, Oklahoma, and a federal arrest warrant was issued for her arrest. At approximately 1:35 p.m. today, Warren self-surrendered to FBI agents at the federal courthouse in Lawton.

The FBI would like to thank the Lawton Police Department for their assistance in this investigation resulting in today’s arrest.

The public is reminded a complaint is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
