Robbery of Arvest Bank Branch in Oklahoma City

James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City FBI, announced the robbery of the Arvest Bank located inside Walmart at 7800 N.W. Expressway in Oklahoma City, OK.

At approximately 11:30 a.m., an unknown female entered the Walmart and approached the teller counter at the Arvest Bank. The subject verbally ordered the teller “put the money in the bag” and implied she had a gun. The teller complied and the money was placed in a white plastic Walmart shopping bag. The subject departed with an undisclosed amount of money and exited the Walmart. The subject was last seen entering the driver’s side of a silver two-door Chevrolet Monte Carlo (pictured below) that was parked in front of a business to the east of the Walmart. Based on surveillance photos and witness descriptions, the subject is described as follows:

  • Black female
  • 5’6” tall
  • 200 pounds
  • Wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, white surgical mask, and white gloves

No one was injured in today’s robbery. This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department.

Anyone with information should contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770 (24-hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of individuals responsible for robbing a member bank.
