Robbery of Arvest Bank Branch in Choctaw

OKLAHOMA CITY—James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announced the robbery of the Arvest Bank, 14900 S.E. 29th Street, Choctaw, Oklahoma.
At approximately 4:36 this afternoon, a white male entered the bank carrying a shotgun. He pointed the shotgun at the bank employees and verbally demanded money. The bank employees complied with the demand and gave the robber an undetermined amount of U.S. currency. The robber left the bank and was seen entering a green Chevrolet or GMC crew cab pickup truck. Another male was waiting for the robber in the truck. The truck had Oklahoma plates. No one was injured in today’s robbery.
The robber was described as white male in his late 20s or early 30s, 5’4” to 5’6” in height, and weighing approximately 150 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a white plaid long sleeve shirt, dark-colored jeans, a baseball cap with “Security” written on the front of the cap, and tennis shoes. Witnesses could not provide a description of the other male waiting in the pickup truck.
The robbery is being investigated by the FBI, Choctaw Police Department and the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office.
