Attempted Bank Robbery in Enid

At approximately 5:47 p.m., an attempted robbery occurred at the Central National Bank, 2219 W. Willow, Enid, Oklahoma. The bank has a security guard and this guard confronted the robber. Based on information obtained from the bank, the robber was possibly a white male. He wore a dark blue hoodie, multicolored bandana, tan cargo pants, and white gloves. The robber was seen holding a dark colored, semi-automatic pistol. After being confronted by the security guard, the robber turned, ran from the bank and was seen riding away from the bank on a red BMX style bicycle. This case is being investigated by the FBI and Enid Police Department.

Any help in identifying this person would be greatly appreciated. As usual, the Oklahoma Banker’s Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for any information that leads to the identification, arrest and/or conviction of this robber.
